The Kingdom of Alexandria

Alexandria..the city rose from an old lava bed chamber who's roof had collapsed open to the sunlight of the surface world 3 miles above. Buildings of carved sandstone and red marble were rising to house the inhabitants of the Kings city. A natural spring fed river runs from the dark tunnels of the Underdark anaroud 3/4 of the city causing a natural moat. A large bridge in the shape of a stretced dragon in flight spanned one end of a chasm to the great road beyond which led into the city.

Business thrives ear, many members of the light surface dwelling races having taken up residence among the occasional darker denizens of the Kings city. The city is designed with one major purpose in it's Regents mind..to act as protection for K'hal, the trading city of his Beloved Wife Ronia, the albino drowess who ruled it with an iron fist. Located approximately 5 miles from her own citadel, the passage to K'hal is either by the great river, or through the many twisting and narrow corridors of the Underdark tunnels.

King Artemician of Alexandria

Dark...dangerous..and unpredictable. He is the ruthless leader of Alexandria. He scorns the name given him by the Drow, "King of Light" he prefers to work in the shadows. Trecherous...rutheless..her persues anything and everything he desires with a single minded purpose. Victory. He was a slave of Ronia, Matron of K'hal..and released when she realized he would never break as a slave. He set off and found the truth of his heritage..before returning to the Underdark to build his kingdom.

Mated to Ronia of K'hal he's determined to make her his Queen.

Lentessa

A striking elven beauty, she has come to be called Lentessa though her true name is a well gaurded secret. Her birthright a mystery, her gentle manner holding the natural elegance and gentleness of one destined to be other than a slave. Stolen from her family she was sold as a child to a Matron in Menzoberranzen. The House fell to a raiding party by Al'Vadin and she was procured as the House's new En'Girl. Slavery in the Drow kingdom has not tainted her warm disposition and her regal appearance. Perfectly obediant and well trained she is a prize worthy of keeping. Now she belongs to King Artemician, as a gift from his beloved...Matron Ronia.

Lentessa is often found with a smile on her features but her mind is almost always lost in a place, a time when she was still a child, roaming through the green forests and beautifully made castles she grew up in before she was taken. Her mind keeps dark secrets that even she has come to forget but those secrets always seem to keep a smile on her face, even during such a dark time as this.

She has tried to allow herself to become bitter from the world in which she survives, but it will simply not bend, this is sometimes her downfall and sometimes her gift. She serves with acceptance of her place in this world and glitters when she thinks no one is watching with magic that lays frustrated inside her, barely put to use.

She was the daughter of the Ubar of Sul Port in Gor, a world far removed from the stretches of vast darkness that were the Underdark. Fierce and free she did not act or carry herself like a slave....in fact if you were to ask her she'd tell you she was one of his treasured wives.
